SUS302 is a type of austenitic stainless steel. It has good plasticity, toughness due to its high carbon content as well as excellent corrosion resistance in medium, such as oxidizing acid, atmosphere, steam and so on. Its corrosion resistance is equivalent to that of SUS304. It can get high strength after cold working; however its extensibility becomes worse. In general, SUS302 is used as the exterior decorative material of building.
