According to different production methods, DIN17175 13CrMo44 seamless pipe can be divided into hot rolled 13CrMo44 pipe, cold rolled 13CrMo44 pipe, cold drawn 13CrMo44 pipe and extruded 13CrMo44 pipe.

Hot rolled DIN17175 13CrMo44 seamless tubes are usually produced on automatic tube mills. The solid tube blank is inspected and removed to remove surface defects, cut to the desired length, and the end face of the blank is centered, then sent to the reheater and the perforator is perforated. At the same time, the punch rotates continuously and moves forward. Under the action of the roller and the plug, a cavity is formed inside the blank, called a capillary. It is then sent to an automatic tube mill for further rolling. Finally, the entire wall thickness of the machine, the diameter is fixed by the sizing machine, in line with the specifications. This is an advanced method for producing 13CrMo44 seamless steel tubes using a continuous tube mill.


If you want to get smaller, better quality DIN17175 13CrMo44 seamless tubes, you must use cold rolled, cold drawn or combined. Cold rolling is usually carried out on a two-roll mill in which a 13CrMo44 steel pipe is rolled in a circular passage formed by a variable-section circular hole and a non-movable tapered plug. Cold drawing is usually carried out on a single or double chain cold drawing machine from 0.5 to 100T.
