Category: Seamless alloy steel pipe for high temperature operation
Executive standard: ASTM A335/A335M-2003
A335 P22 alloy steel pipe is a grade in the American Standard ASTM A335 alloy seamless steel pipe standard. It is a high temperature ferritic steel with molybdenum complex for boilers and superheaters of 2.25Cr-Mo. In 1985, my country transplanted A335 P22 alloy steel pipe into GB/T 5310 alloy steel pipe and named it 12Cr2MoG. Other countries also have similar steel grades, such as 10CrMo910 in Federal Germany and STBA24 in Japan.
In the Cr-Mo steel series, the thermal strength of A335 P22 alloy steel pipe is relatively high. At the same temperature (temperature 580℃), its creep rupture strength and allowable stress are even higher than 9Cr-Mo steel, and A335 P22 alloy steel pipe It has good processing performance and welding performance, and good lasting plasticity. Therefore, in the harsh working environment, A335 P22 alloy steel pipe has a wide range of applications, such as various heating pipes and high-pressure vessels in thermal power, nuclear power, and some hydrogen equipment.
A335 P22 alloy steel pipe has been widely used in the United States, Japan and Europe. It has a long history of operation in power plants. It is a mature steel with stable performance and good process performance.
