12Cr1MoVG seamless steel tube is a seamless steel tube of 12Cr1MoV steel. 12Cr1MoVG seamless steel tube is a kind of alloy structural steel, which is mainly suitable for calculating the main steam pipe of high pressure, ultra-high pressure and sub-critical power station boiler with wall temperature no more than 565℃.The national standard of 12Cr1MoVG seamless steel tube is the same as that of 20G and 15CrMoG, and the detailed requirements for the delivery heat treatment status of 12Cr1MoVG seamless steel tube are also made in GB 5310-2017 standard.
Due to the addition of alloying elements, the carbon equivalent CE of the steel was further calculated to be 0.41-0.64. Therefore, 12Cr1MoVG seamless steel tube was similar to 15CrMoG in poor weldability.Cold cracks are easy to occur in the hot zone of welding.Generally speaking, under the same conditions, the mechanical properties of 12Cr1MoVG seamless steel tube are better than 15CrMoG. The addition of Cr and Mo elements enhanced the anti-oxidation and high-temperature strength of steel. In addition, the addition of a small amount of V elements further enhanced the thermal strength of 12Cr1MoVG seamless steel tube.
